Description |
Watercolor on paper of two ducks preparing to land in the water in a marsh. Two thin trees without leaves peak out from the water, with a line of trees in the distance along the horizon. Brown grass and weeds sprout from the water in the foreground. Artist A.C. Gentry was born in Tyler, Texas in 1927. Many of Gentry's works have an air of nostalgia to them, an interest in old buildings and structures slowly being reclaimed by time. Gentry is also kown for landscapes and water scenes that incorporate birds or hunting activities. |
